Bell ups mobile data speeds and prices on 80GB, 100GB plans

Who doesn’t love faster mobile speeds, but are quicker speeds worth a steeper price tag? Bell has updated its mobile-only plans, bringing faster speeds to the company’s most affordable plans, upping speeds from 1Gbps to 2Gbps. However, these ‘affordable’ plans are now a little less affordable.

Here are some of the new differences:

  • 80GB of data up to 2Gbps for $60, was 80GB of data up to 1Gbps for $55
  • 100GB of data up to 2Gbps for $65 with Canada and U.S. data, was 100GB of data up to 1Gbps for $60 Canada only
  • 175GB of data up to 2Gbps for $80 with Canada & U.S., was 175GB of data up to 2Gbps for $65 Canada, U.S., Mexico
  • 250GB of data up to 2Gbps for $95, was 250GB of data up to 2Gbps for $85

It’s strange that even Bell’s Max and Ultra plans got more expensive, even though the speeds on these plans didn’t increase.
