Fido and Virgin Plus offering $40/60GB until April 20

Fido has added some new bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) plans offering discounted rates until April 20. The sale has gotten rid of some of Fido’s other plans for the time being.

The Rogers-owned wireless brand removed its $39/20GB and $44/60GB plans and replaced them with a $40/60GB plan that’s only available for a few more days. Fido also has a $49/80GB plan that includes U.S. and Mexico roaming. This doesn’t have a limited time label, though.

However, Fido isn’t the only one that now offers this price/data allotment, as Virgin Plus also has the same deal. Virgin Plus’ plans now include $40/60GB and $49/80GB, with the $40/60GB promotion ending on April 20.

While $40/60GB isn’t a bad option, other carriers seem to have similar options. For instance, Koodo recently added a $40/60GB plan to its roster of $50/80GB and $55/100GB plans.

However, Freedom Mobile currently has some better 5G options. For a limited time, the company is offering $35/80GB, $40/100GB, $45/175GB, and $60/250GB options, and many of these plans include U.S. and Mexico roaming.
