Ookla has unveiled its Speedtest Awards for the latter half of 2025, and bell has emerged as the champion in Canada for mobile network speed. This recognition highlights Bell's remarkable performance in the competitive landscape of telecommunications.
Top Scores in Mobile Network Performance
When it comes too mobile network speeds, Bell leads with a remarkable score of 46.75. Following closely is Telus, which achieved a score of 42.66. Rogers trails behind at 37.39, nearly five points lower than Telus’s results.
Fixed Network Rankings: A Close Contest
The competition doesn't end with mobile networks; it extends to fixed internet services as well. Hear, Bell’s PureFibre network claimed first place with an impressive Speedtest score of 77.45. not far behind was Telus’ PureFibre service at 76.14, showcasing a tight race between these two providers.
Rogers secured third place with a score of 71.47, while Cogeco followed at 65.47 and Videotron rounded out the list at 63.86.
A shift in Fixed Network Scores
an engaging trend emerged when comparing scores from earlier quarters to those from Q3/Q4 this year; both Bell and Telus saw slight declines in their fixed network scores compared to Q1/Q2 results—Bell dropped from an earlier high of 78.43 while Telus fell from a previous score of 77.03.

Bells' success continues as they also ranked highest for providing the best gaming experience among Internet Service Providers (ISPs), achieving an impressive score of 97.97 in this category.
Cogeco came close but finished second with a score of 93.56, followed by Telus at just under that mark with a rating of 93.44 and Videotron slightly trailing at 93.24.
Rogers landed last among these competitors with a gaming experience rating of only 92 .96.
Mobile Gaming Performance Highlights
Bell didn’t stop there; they also excelled in mobile gaming performance by securing another top position with an outstanding score of 86 .87.
Telus took second place here too but managed to edge out Rogers slightly by finishing with 87 .99 compared to Rogers’ final tally of 87 .10.
