how to Play Strands

In each Strands puzzle, your goal is to find “theme words” concealed within a letter grid. You can drag or tap letters to create words; just double-tap the last letter when you finish forming a word. When you correctly identify theme words, thay will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.

Finding non-theme words also helps! For every three non-theme words that are four letters or longer, you'll earn a hint that reveals some letters of one of the theme words for you to unscramble.Every letter in the grid plays a role in spelling out theme words without any overlap. Each letter is used only once throughout the entire puzzle.Additionally, each puzzle includes one special word known as a “spangram.” This spangram connects two opposite sides of the board and reflects its overall theme. When discovered, it will be highlighted in yellow.

The objective is to complete your puzzle quickly while using as few hints as possible.
