Gemini Advanced Unleashes Stunning Video Creation Capabilities!

Google Gemini's New Video Creation Feature
Google has introduced an exciting addition to its AI assistant, Gemini advanced. This feature allows users to create an 8-second animated video using just a text prompt. with the help of Veo 2,a video model launched in late 2024,Gemini can transform your words into lively visuals. veo 2 is designed to produce realistic videos that understand human movements and real-world settings.
creating Videos with ease
Making videos with Gemini and Veo 2 is straightforward. You simply describe the scene you want—be it a short story or a specific visual idea—and Gemini will bring it to life. The more detailed your description, the better control you have over the final product. This feature opens up endless creative opportunities for users to explore various styles from realism to fantasy.
The videos generated by Google’s Gemini last for eight seconds and are produced in 720p resolution with a standard aspect ratio of 16:9. Users can download these MP4 files directly from their chat or share them on platforms like facebook, Reddit, linkedin, or X. additionally, there’s an option to share via public links.
Exploring Video Creation with Google Gemini
If you've experimented with AI video creation before, you know that detailed prompts yield better results. Google Gemini follows this rule but excels at interpreting vague descriptions too; it often adds its own creative touches.
I tested this by giving it a simple prompt: “A K-pop girl group performing on stage in front of thousands.” The resulting video was extraordinary—the main singer embodied the K-pop idol look perfectly while the stadium was filled with fans waving light sticks in support.I appreciated how Korean text appeared at the bottom of the screen as if capturing a live performance moment.
For another test, I provided more detail about a countryside scene featuring a man walking his cat along an old lane beside abandoned farms while UFOs hovered above distant fields. The final product beautifully captured my vision—the leafy lane looked just right along with how both characters moved through it and how UFOs appeared as we panned past trees.
Accessing Video Creation Features
The new Veo 2 video creation tool is available for subscribers of Google’s Gemini Advanced service at $20 per month (or £19 per month). Users can find this feature under a new drop-down menu where they can switch between different models like Flash and Deep Research options.
This functionality works on both desktop and mobile devices; Google plans for wider availability starting today over several weeks ahead.
If you're subscribed to Google one AI Premium ($20 monthly) and have access to Google's Whisk tool, you can also use images alongside text prompts for creating videos—though currently images cannot be integrated into Veo 2 itself yet for style guidance purposes. Previously limited by region restrictions, Whisk is now accessible globally for all subscribers.
