Tubi adds over 600 movies and shows in Canada

Tubi just added more than 600 movies and TV series in Canada.

The Fox-owned free, ad-supported service’s expansion comes through licensing deals with the likes of Disney, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Discovery. The newly added movies will be available for one month, while the new series will remain streaming for up to a year.

See below for some of the new title highlights:

  • Disney — Assassin’s Creed, Independence Day
  • Lionsgate — American Hustle, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Django Unchained, The Expendables franchise, The Fighter, Good Will Hunting, the John Wick franchise, and Reservoir Dogs, plus the series The Tudors and Rogue
  • NBCUniversal — Jurassic World, Pacific Rim Uprising, R.I.P.D, Split, The Invisible Man, The Mummy, Trolls, Trolls World Tour, and Wanted, plus the series La Brea.
  • Sony Pictures Entertainment — 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Air Force One, Bad Boys (1995), Bad Boys II, The Equalizer, The Fifth Element, The Karate Kid franchise, Pineapple Express, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, This is the End, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and more, plus the series Outsiders and Counterpart
  • Warner Bros. Discovery: Catwoman, The Bodyguard, Demolition Man, The Departed, Edge of Tomorrow, The Fugitive, Geostorm, Get Smart, Godzilla, Little Nicky, Man of Steel, Pacific Rim, Selena, Snakes on A Plane, and We’re The Millers, plus the series Gilligan’s Island and Maverick

Tubi says it has the largest free streaming library of movies and TV shows in Canada and that the number of monthly active users on the service has grown 30 per cent monthly active users since 2020.

Tubi is available for free on the web, Android, iOS and the Microsoft Store.
