In a recent festivity of mobile network excellence, Canadian telecom giants Telus, Bell, and rogers received accolades at Opensignal’s 2025 5G Global Mobile Network Experience Awards. This recognition comes shortly after Rogers triumphed in nine categories in the August report.
T-Mobile Takes Top Spot for Download Speeds
T-Mobile emerged as the global leader for download speeds across large areas. However, Telus and Bell closely followed suit, earning recognition as global leaders alongside other major telecommunications firms from countries like the United States, Australia, Italy, and Norway.
Japanese Operator Leads in Gaming Experience
The Japanese operator au was recognized as the top performer in 5G gaming experience. Meanwhile, Canadian companies Rogers, bell, and Telus secured a commendable position just behind au. In terms of reliability metrics on a scale from 100 to 1000 points, au also claimed victory with an impressive score of 976.1. The Canadian trio outperformed significant U.S.competitors such as AT&T and Verizon.
Among the three Canadian providers evaluated by Opensignal for reliability scores: Rogers led with a score of 961.5; Telus followed closely with just one point less; while Bell rounded out the group with a score of 955.2.
