Service for Fizz customers in B.C. and Alberta reportedly restored

Fizz Mobile customers in B.C. and Alberta were having some issues with receiving calls from August 14-16, with the service only allowing for calls between Fizz-to-Fizz numbers. Callers heard a message that said “due to telephone company facility trouble, your call cannot be completed at this time.”

Customers reported these issues on the Fizz Forum, as well as on Reddit, and have even reached out to us via e-mail.

On August 16, a Fizz Mobile Community Moderator responded on the forum saying the following:

“A few zones are with the incoming calls situation – our team is working on finding a solution so if you can`t make calls , please reach our customer service on Live chat : https://fizz.ca/en/support so our colleagues can open a ticket for our technical team to investigate further.”

Fizz also told iPhone in Canada late Saturday, August 16, that it was an isolated situation and the service had been fully restored for these customers.
