HoYoverse has revealed that the version 3.3 update for Honkai: Star Rail, named “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise,” will be available worldwide on May 21, 2025. This update wraps up the Flame-Chase Journey storyline and brings new characters,challenges,and events.

In this exciting chapter, players—referred to as trailblazers—will team up with the Chrysos Heirs to battle Aquila, a massive bird-like creature with a hundred eyes that controls dawn and dusk. This showdown is set to be one of the most thrilling encounters in the game’s story so far.
New Characters Introduced
Hyacine: The Healing Expert
Version 3.3 introduces two new five-star characters: Hyacine and Cipher. Hyacine serves as the chief physician of Twilight Courtyard and is a wind-element character who follows the Path of Remembrance. She specializes in healing her teammates while enhancing their survivability through her companion Little Ica, who helps restore health points (HP) and strengthen defenses. Her ultimate ability not only heals but also boosts all teammates' maximum HP, making her an essential support character.
Cipher: The Damage Dealer
Cipher is another addition; she represents Quantum elements and follows the Path of Nihility. As one of the first Chrysos Heirs,she offers a unique gameplay style by marking enemies to track damage that can later be unleashed as true damage during battles. Her ability to adapt quickly makes her a strong asset for any team.
Returning Characters
The update also brings back limited five-star characters Herta and Aglaea during different phases of Version 3.3's warp event, giving players another chance to recruit these powerful allies into their teams.
