Public Mobile’s flash sale discounts a variety of plans by 50 per cent. This flash sale ends today, March 30.
The Public Mobile 5G speed plans start at $25 per month and include 50 per cent off for the first two years, then return to their regular price. The plans include 5G speeds, use your data or unlimited talk and text in Canada, the US and Mexico, Public Points, call display, call waiting, voicemail, call forwarding and are available for new activations only.

- $25/80GB (regularly $50/80GB)
- $30/100GB (regularly $60/100GB)
- $35/150GB (regularly $70/150GB)

The change comes after a weekend of wireless deals. On Friday, Public actually raised prices and reduced data allotments on several plans, while competitors were rolling out discounts. Now Public is in line with offers from the likes of Fido and Virgin Plus.
$35/150GB is a pretty good deal if you don’t want to spend too much money. Freedom Mobile has been offering $40 for 250GB, which is 100GB more for an extra $5, so still, Freedom is your best bet overall, but if you don’t need that much data (or don’t want to spend that much), Public’s deals are very compelling.
Most of the current wireless deals are set to end on March 31, so now is the time to act if you want a discount.
