Players will engage in tactical hunts, requiring teams of three to quickly assess their surroundings, manage their roles effectively, and survive against swarming machines.
A closed playtest is scheduled for late February through the PlayStation Beta Program, allowing players on both platforms to participate. the game promises cross-play between PS5 and PC at launch, along with cross-progression for those using the same PlayStation account.
While there’s no official release date or pricing information yet, this upcoming test will provide valuable insights into whether the game's combat mechanics can keep players engaged over time.
Dive into Two Distinct Game Modes
The first mode available is called Machine Incursion. this fast-paced experience features intense missions where waves of machines emerge from underground portals. Teams must work together strategically; failure to coordinate can lead to a punishing boss fight that tests their skills.
The second mode, Cauldron descent, offers a more extended gameplay experience. In this mode, squads navigate through multiple stages filled with increasing challenges and optional side paths that yield additional rewards but also heighten risks. Choosing these detours can lead to greater loot but may also result in unexpected setbacks during a run.
Both modes will be accessible during the closed playtest on PS5 and PC platforms.
