Get Ready: Nothing’s Next Flagship Phone is Coming to the US!

Nothing has made a meaningful impact in the smartphone market with its striking designs and competitive pricing. Though, its devices have not officially entered the US market—until now. For those eager to try them, a beta program has allowed some users to obtain these phones, provided they could navigate carrier issues.
This situation is set to change soon.Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, announced on X that their next flagship phone will definitely be available in the US. he was responding to a question about when the Nothing Phone 3 would launch.
A few weeks back, Nothing confirmed that Phone 3 is expected to hit stores in the third quarter of 2025. This timing coincides with the anticipated release of Apple's iPhone 17 series and other major product launches like Meta’s new AI smart glasses featuring a monocular display.
Currently,Nothing's latest offerings are the Phone 3a and 3a Pro models. These are available through their beta program in the US but are not being sold through traditional carrier partnerships or retail channels.
The Importance of This Advancement
So far, Nothing has not clarified why it hasn’t sold phones directly in America despite allowing limited access for enthusiasts. The challenges they face are evident and have been acknowledged by Pei previously.
The competition within the US market may seem less fierce compared to Asian markets like India or China; however, consumer preferences heavily lean towards Apple products. Major brands such as Samsung, Google, and OnePlus dominate much of the Android space here.
pei noted in an interview with Forbes that “the US is very Apple-centric with few alternatives for consumers,” which presents an opportunity for their Phone (2). A significant hurdle remains finding an effective sales strategy within this carrier-driven environment.
During a recent discussion with IDC analysts, it was highlighted that Nothing needs strong partnerships with major carriers like Verizon and T-Mobile to expand its reach effectively. Consumer buying habits also play a role; many prefer purchasing phones through installment plans linked to their service contracts.
At present, fans of Nothing can only access these devices via beta testing programs in America. Recently, this London-based company introduced another model: CMF Phone 2 Pro. Priced at $279, it features an appealing modular design along with vibrant colors and robust specifications.
