Exciting New Games Coming to PlayStation plus in May 2025
Sony has revealed the lineup for PlayStation Plus in May 2025, and it’s packed wiht thrilling titles. Players can look forward to battling with space marines, taming armored dinosaurs, and enjoying a unique card game starting on May 6. Make sure to claim your April games before they’re gone.
Balatro: A Unique Card Game experience
The first title available is Balatro for both PS4 and PS5 users. This indie game has gained significant attention, winning multiple awards at the Game Awards. It took home honors for Best Debut Indie Game, Best Self-reliant Game, and Best Mobile Game.
In Balatro, players engage in a deck-building adventure using a standard set of playing cards. Some cards come with special abilities that can boost your score as you aim for the highest points possible.
ark: Survival Ascended – A Remastered Adventure
Next up is Ark: Survival Ascended, exclusively for PS5 players. This remastered version of Ark: Survival Evolved utilizes Unreal Engine 5 to enhance graphics and gameplay features substantially.
Players will have access to all worlds from the original game along with new quality-of-life improvements. The multiplayer options are impressive to; enjoy split-screen play for two or join online sessions with up to eight friends privately or up to seventy players publicly.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Nostalgic Shooter Action
The final addition is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, an action-packed shooter that immerses players in the Warhammer universe while capturing the essence of classic '90s games.With its retro graphics style reminiscent of early shooters like Doom, this game promises plenty of explosions and intense action.
However, it's important to note that Boltgun offers only a single-player experience despite its potential appeal as a multiplayer title.
Availability Dates
