Motorola Unveils New Devices: Razr Phones, Wearables, and More
Motorola has had an eventful week. The company introduced its latest Razr and Edge series smartphones, along with a unique pair of open earbuds and a return to smartwatches after several years.
We attended the launch event in New York City and got to experience all the new devices firsthand. from the Razr Ultra to the Watch Fit and Moto Buds loop, we have all the details you need about Motorola's recent announcements.
New Smartphone Highlights from Motorola
The highlight of Motorola's event was undoubtedly the Razr Ultra 2025. This flagship folding phone comes in various attractive colors. It features a 7-inch pOLED internal display with an impressive refresh rate of 165Hz and peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits. Additionally, it has a 4-inch external display that also boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
The device is rated IP48 for water resistance. It includes a newly designed hinge reinforced with titanium for added durability. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it offers robust performance. the camera setup includes dual rear cameras at 50 megapixels each and another selfie camera at the top of its internal display also at 50 megapixels. A large battery capacity of 4,700mAh supports fast charging at up to 67W—allowing users to gain nearly a full day’s power in just eight minutes.
Next is the Razr+, which has slightly lower specifications then its counterpart but still maintains an IP48 rating like both models in this series.
