The videos generated by Google’s Gemini last for eight seconds and are produced in 720p resolution with a standard aspect ratio of 16:9. Users can download these MP4 files directly from their chat or share them on platforms like facebook, Reddit, linkedin, or X. additionally, there’s an option to share via public links.

The new Veo 2 video creation tool is available for subscribers of Google’s Gemini Advanced service at $20 per month (or £19 per month). Users can find this feature under a new drop-down menu where they can switch between different models like Flash and Deep Research options.
This functionality works on both desktop and mobile devices; Google plans for wider availability starting today over several weeks ahead.
If you're subscribed to Google one AI Premium ($20 monthly) and have access to Google's Whisk tool, you can also use images alongside text prompts for creating videos—though currently images cannot be integrated into Veo 2 itself yet for style guidance purposes. Previously limited by region restrictions, Whisk is now accessible globally for all subscribers.
