Freedom Mobile updates Roam Beyond with more destinations

Freedom Mobile has added new destinations to its Roam Beyond roaming data package and expanded coverage in countries already included in the program.

As spotted on Reddit, the new locations include Bangladesh, Egypt, Montenegro, and Slovakia. Alongside that, the Americas were separated into North, Central, and South America.

Interestingly, a user in the Reddit thread pointed out that Slovakia was one of the few countries in the European Union/European Economic Area not included in Roam Beyond.

A few more users were thrilled with the inclusion of Montenegro, as it is a stop on several Mediterranean-focused cruises offered by Princess Cruises.

Here are the coverage expansions to existing countries that were already a part of Roam Beyond:

  • Chile now includes coverage for Easter Island
  • Colombia now includes coverage for San Andres
  • Ecuador now includes coverage for the Galápagos Islands
  • France now includes coverage for Corsica
  • Portugal now includes coverage for both the Azores and Madeira
  • Spain now includes coverage for the Canary Islands

Freedom has been making a fair amount of changes to its services recently, boosting data on two plans ($40/100GB, $50/150GB), and keeping its 250GB plan around following a flash sale.
