Freedom Mobile Launches new Travel eSIM for Canadians
Freedom Mobile is enhancing its roaming services with a fresh travel eSIM that’s available to all Canadians, not just its own customers. This new offering, known as the Roam Beyond Travel Data eSIM,allows users to access the carrier's Roam Beyond feature in over 120 locations worldwide. However, it’s important to note that this option only provides data; voice calls and text messaging are not included. For those who need full roaming capabilities—data, calling, and texting—Freedom offers specific Roam Beyond plans.
To obtain one of these new eSIM plans from Freedom, users must pay a one-time fee of $10. After that, they can choose between two options: a $10 plan for 1GB of data (currently an introductory offer) or a $30 plan for 5GB. The purchased data remains valid for up to 12 months without any overage charges, and customers have the versatility to add more data if needed.
