The message states that the bonus data will remain available provided that customers keep their current plans.the text reads, “We’re adding 40GB of bonus data to your monthly plan, usable in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, at no extra cost.”
Automatic Activation
Customers who recieve this message do not need to take any action for activation. Freedom has confirmed that the additional data will be added automatically.
Variability in Offers
As with many promotional offers, results may vary among users. This bonus does not appear tied to specific plans. For instance,several users on reddit reported receiving the 40GB bonus while on a $35/75GB boxing Day plan. Another user on a 100GB plan also received the same offer.
