Dom Matthews, the head of Ninja Theory, shared this exciting update through a YouTube video. He stated, “Today marks one year since we released Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. We are thrilled to announce that it will be available on PlayStation 5 this summer.” He also mentioned that new features would be included in this version and would be available for Xbox and PC users at the same time through an update.
A Shift in Platforms
The first Hellblade game was released on PlayStation 4 before Microsoft acquired Ninja Theory in 2018. Initially planned as an Xbox exclusive, the studio is now happy to welcome back fans on PlayStation who wont to follow Senua's story.
