Mississauga Rogers Customers Face Internet and TV Outages

Service Disruptions Hit Rogers Customers in Mississauga
This morning, several Rogers users in Mississauga, Ontario, are experiencing service interruptions.Just a short while ago, I returned home from a dental appointment only to discover that my Rogers internet was down. I also checked our TV adn home phone services, but they were both unresponsive.
While scrolling through X (formerly Twitter), I noticed another resident from Mississauga mentioning similar issues. At 11:22 a.m., I received an alert from Rogers stating that they had “detected a service interruption affecting internet, TV and home phone services in your area.”
Rogers Technicians on the Case
The company has informed customers that their technicians are actively working to pinpoint the cause of these outages and restore services as quickly as possible. Interestingly enough, heavy rain has been reported in the region; though,it remains uncertain if this weather is linked to the disruptions.
Rogers mentioned that typical network problems can usually be resolved within four hours. However,if there are complications like fiber cuts involved,it could take up to 12 hours for everything to return to normal.
