Virgin Plus Adjusts Pricing on 60GB Plan
Virgin Plus has made some changes to its pricing for the popular 60GB mobile plan. Initially, they raised the price but have since reverted it back down.
The Bell-owned provider now offers this plan for $40 per month. This package includes unlimited calling and texting across Canada,as well as unlimited calls from Canada to several countries including the U.S., Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, and the U.K. Additionally, users can send unlimited international texts from Canada and enjoy standard features like call display and voicemail.

This plan provides 40GB of data at 4G speeds reaching up to 150Mbps. The monthly fee also comes with a $10 discount if you set up autopay.
Previously, Virgin charged $39 per month for this same service but briefly increased it to $45 in an attempt to align with Rogers' Fido. As of June 6th,however,they returned to a more competitive rate of $40 per month—matching Telus's flanker brand Koodo’s offering of $40 for a similar 60GB plan. At present time Fido continues to charge $45 for their equivalent service.
