OnePlus Announces Price Drop for Watch 3
OnePlus has revealed a meaningful price reduction for its Watch 3 model. Initially, teh smartwatch was priced at $329.99. Though, due to what the company described as “current market conditions” in the U.S., the price surged to $499.99 on April 10.
Now, OnePlus has confirmed that it has successfully lowered the price back down to $349.99, which is just above its original launch price.
The reason behind this ample drop of nearly $150 is attributed to adjustments made within their supply chain.
OnePlus assures customers that this new pricing will remain stable and will not change in the future.
Support for Previous Buyers
For those who purchased the OnePlus Watch 3 at the higher rate, there’s positive news. The company plans to honor those earlier purchases by refunding customers who paid $499.99.According to their statement: “OnePlus will refund them the difference to their original payment method and will be contacted directly by the OnePlus Customer Support team.”
Reason Behind Price adjustment
In a follow-up statement, OnePlus explained why they decided to adjust prices again and how they managed it.
They stated: “This change reflects our effort to be transparent and responsive while committed to offering competitive pricing for our users in light of ongoing market conditions. We appreciate all our OnePlus users and community members for their continued support.”
