While we where already aware of the‍ upcoming release of Mario Kart World, ‍fresh announcements like Donkey Kong Bananza highlighted⁤ additional games set⁤ to launch in 2025.However, one title captured everyone's attention: initially mistaken by ‌many as Bloodborne II—myself included—it turned⁣ out to be something possibly even more thrilling: The Duskbloods.‌ This innovative IP from FromSoftware could sway skeptics into purchasing Nintendo's latest hardware.

Release Timeline

Upon‍ it's proclamation during the Direct event,⁣ The Duskbloods was slated for a release window in 2026. Given that FromSoftware is also launching Elden Ring: nightreign this year, a timeline extending to late‌ next year ​seems feasible‍ based on their ⁤development pace.

This teaser provided glimpses into gameplay ⁤mechanics alongside various⁤ monsters but left ‍much shrouded in mystery due to its cryptic narration.
