Understanding How to Play Strands
Your main objective in each Strands puzzle is to uncover the “theme words” hidden within a grid of letters. You can manipulate letters by dragging or tapping them; double-tap on the last letter to confirm your selection. When you identify a correct word, it will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.
If you discover a word that isn’t part of the theme but has four or more letters, it still counts! For every three non-theme words found this way, you'll receive a hint—one letter from one of the theme words will be revealed for you to unscramble.
All letters in the grid contribute directly to forming theme words without any overlap. Each letter is used exactly onc throughout each puzzle.
