Videotron launches 2 Giga Internet in some Quebec areas

Videotron has launched ‘2 Giga Internet‘ residential internet in select areas of Québec, which will feature download speeds up to 2,000Mbps (2Gbps) and upload speeds of 200Mbps at the access point.

Videotron says 2 Giga Internet will be available to eligible customers without needing to buy any new equipment, and unlimited data is included at no extra charge.

2 Giga Internet is available in Montréal, Laval and Québec City, with expansion planned across more of Videotron’s network in the coming months. Videotron says that this launch complements Videotron’s symmetrical speed 2.5 Giga Internet plan, which has been available in areas of Québec for several months.
