How to Check Your Offers
To see if you qualify, open the Public mobile app. Tap on ‘Manage Subscription’ under the ‘Subscription’ tab. Then, select ‘Change Subscription.’ You should find a list of available plans there.
If you're fortunate, you might see the $35/75GB and $45/100GB options. The $35 plan includes 75GB of 5G data, unlimited talk and text, plus 1,000 international minutes to several countries like China and India. It also features roaming in the U.S. and Mexico.
The $45 plan mirrors this but provides 100GB of data instead. Keep in mind that Public is part of Telus and operates on its network with a speed cap of up to 250Mbps for 5G.
Better Deals Than New Customers
These plans are quite similar to those listed on the Public Mobile website but offer slightly more data than standard options available to new customers.As an example, they have a regular offer of $35 for 60GB or $45 for 80GB across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico; thus, existing customer deals provide better value.
these promotions are appealing—especially if you're already subscribed to a similar plan at either price point—allowing you more data without an increase in monthly costs. I switched from a previous plan offering only 50GB after Black Friday last year; moving up to the new option was an easy choice even though I may not use all that extra data.
Switching plans Made Easy
If you choose to change your plan, be aware that Public Mobile will ask when you'd like this change effective: promptly or at your next renewal date? Most people might prefer waiting until their current subscription ends so they can fully utilize what they've already paid for.
Other Options Available
Currently available is also a limited-time offer: a $29 plan providing just 20GB across Canada/U.S./Mexico until March 24th; however, it seems this deal isn't accessible to existing customers looking specifically within their accounts. If you're interested in something similar while with Public Mobile but can't access this deal directly through them right now—consider checking out Chatr or Lucky as alternatives which may have comparable offerings available too.
It's crucial to note that these special offers do not include entry into any contests such as trips organized by Public related specifically around travel opportunities like vacations in Mexico.
