Is This Deal Worth It?
The added data certainly enhances the value of Public’s offerings. though, it’s critically important to mention that this isn’t the most impressive deal we’ve seen from them recently.
Earlier in January, Public Mobile had an incredible flash sale were they offered up to half off certain plans. During that time, customers could snag deals like $20 for a plan with 40GB or $30 for one with up to100 GB and North American roaming included.
Existing Customers Left Out?
A downside to this new promotion is that existing customers may not be eligible for the extra data unless they find other offers through their self-serve portal. When I checked my own account with Public Mobile, I was presented with options like $40 for an upgraded plan offering80 GB and another at $50 providing100 GB—all featuring North American roaming as well. While these are slightly better than current market deals, I decided against switching since my existing plan at $35 provides me with75 GB across Canada and the U.S., which suits my needs just fine.
A Solid Option Despite Limitations
