Nintendo’s New Product Delivers Joy with Fun Random Quips

Nintendo has once again introduced a quirky gadget for your home. While it may not be as functional as the $100 Alarmo, which features five themed alarm packs, the new Talking Flower aims to brighten your day with its collection of amusing, Mario-inspired sayings.
During a Nintendo Direct event last September, the company first hinted at the Talking Flower. now, they have revealed more details about this unique product adn confirmed its official release date. Inspired by flowers from the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, this potted flower does exactly what its name implies: it speaks approximately twice an hour with lines like “Sometimes it’s nice to space out” or “Bowser and his buds can’t get us here, right?”
Meet Your New Chatty Companion
The Talking Flower comes equipped with a single button that allows you to activate a random phrase with just one press or silence it temporarily by holding down the button for two seconds. If you keep pressing the button repeatedly, you can unlock special messages too! Additionally, you can set wake-up and bedtime routines so that your flower greets you in the morning and bids you goodnight while keeping quiet during your sleep hours. It even has time-based phrases and tells time—though Nintendo warns that its accuracy might vary.
A Plant That Knows You Well
This lively flower also monitors room temperature and will comment on changes like “Cooler today, huh?” When it's running low on battery power, it will let you know as well. Plus, there’s a music mode where familiar tunes play in the background while random phrases are shouted whenever someone presses the button.
Multilingual Fun Awaits
The Talking Flower supports eleven languages including English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, French Japanese Chinese and Korean! It's currently available for pre-order at $34.99 through both select retailers and directly from the My Nintendo Store starting March 12.
